Collection: Rosemary

Rosmarinus officinalis

Rosemary is so naturally rich in essential oils that it’s not uncommon to smell the resinous leaves of a rosemary bush from many yards away when taking an evening stroll down the streets of our home in Tucson, Arizona. The plant has antioxidant properties which, similar to chaparral, protect it from the scorching desert sun, keeping the leaves green in every season and also helping to preserve any oils used for infusion. Rosemary essential oil is invigorating, refreshing, and stimulating; it helps with concentration and opens the sinuses to support clear, deep breathing.

Rosemary is also a kitchen-medicine herb, along with chickweed, ginger, calendula, and West Indian bay leaf.
