Collection: Chaparral

Larrea tridentata

Abundant in the Sonoran landscape surrounding our home in Tucson, Arizona is the resilient Chaparral, whose natural antioxidant properties protect its delicate green leaves from the scorching desert sun. Traditional uses of Chaparral are quite varied; extracts of its resinous leaves and twigs were employed as internal and topical medicine by the indigenous peoples of the American Southwest, a tradition that we carry on today.
